Dr. Ludwig is a musician and a music lover. She has been a violinist for 30+ years, and dabbles in guitar, singing and piano. She also happens to be a highly-trained audiologist, committed to meeting the hearing-related needs of musicians.

Dr. Ludwig earned her doctoral degree in 2009 at the University of Minnesota.  After seven years of coursework, she completed her clinical externship in diagnostic audiology at Boston Children's Hospital under the direction of Dr. Brian Fligor, who is the go-to audiologist in the Boston area for musicians seeking hearing conservation services.  After working with a few artists while in Boston, Dr. Ludwig decided that she wanted to meet the hearing-related needs of musicians in Minnesota.

Dr. Ludwig has been trained by Sensaphonics, a leader in hearing conservation. This training, in addition to being a licensed audiologist since 2009, means that you can be certain that you will receive the best, most comprehensive audiologic care. Dr. Ludwig knows what you need in order to sound your best, and knows how to protect your hearing so that you can enjoy listening for a lifetime.

Dr. Ludwig holds a certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).  Dr. Ludwig served on the Board of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology (MAA) and held the position of President. You may see her driving around town sporting her DR DB automotive license plates, or putting her audiology skills to good use at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.
